Robot/Boogaloo

This was actually a very interesting project to work on. Robot/Boogaloo is a retro shop in Bergen, Norway, that sells loads of random and retro stuff. The ones on my year studying graphic design were to design boxes that the shop could exhibit in the shop window. We could make whatever we wanted as long as it fitted inside the boxes we were given. And it was quite fun to make something without only using a computer for once.  And if you were one of the lucky ones the shop owner would pick out your box and put it in his window. Spoiler alert!: mine was one of them!

We also got to chose if we wanted to use Robot or Boogaloo. I chose Robot obviously... fewer letters. The concept behind mine was that the box was made up of a retro TV, taking you back in time. Which was the feeling I got when I first entered the shop, like I had entered a time-machine. It is such a cool shop! Then came the typo in a robotic style with wires and screws all over, referring to robots. It never got completely done, and I was suppose to add a screen etc. But I never got the time to fully complete it. Money saved on material though.

The box also had a spotlight in the "roof" making it possible to see it at night. Wicked!
